The following table lists the musical symbols that can be hand-written onto the score and recognised by Touch Notation. The method of writing symbols is similar to writing notation on paper, however some symbols can be written with simple gestures. For example, a quarter note symbol can be written using a single diagonal stroke, without the need to draw a tail, while other symbols such as pedaling are written using special inputs.
If you are unable to enter the desired musical symbol as expected, please refer to the explanation and video for each symbol below. In addition, musical symbols requiring several strokes should be written continuously, without pausing between strokes.
